#Ramadan1436AH Day 11: Into The Numbers

I saw some pretty interesting numbers recently. Go slow, so you don’t get lost in the figures. Not like you won’t get lost anyway.
Make no mistake, this post is not about how there are more cells in your body than there are people in the world. Maybe it is.
The number of cells in your body currently is much more than all the human beings that have ever lived, up to about 600 times more. You must feel so special, like your body is like a Universe all by itself. But hold up.
There’s more sand in the world than there are cells in your body, by over 7000 times.
Hold something. The 100 billion neurons in your brain are about to explode.
You feel like the Universe is inside you, but if you and everyone who has ever lived, all 107-8 billion of us, stood side by side, we’d all fit into the United Kingdom. That’s only about 0.16% of Earth’s landmass.
So if you ever wondered how we’d all fit on Judgement Day, I guess that answers your question.
But I’m not even done.
Let’s not pay attention to the fact that every one of us alive today uses up only 43% of landmass. Let’s also not pay attention to the fact that all the land in the world is only 29% of the Earth’s mass, while the rest is water.
Again, let’s focus on the 500 quadrillion (15 zeros) grains of sand there are. Or maybe we should look up at the night sky. What you are looking at, is a sky filled with 400 billion stars. And that’s just our galaxy alone, the Milky Way Galaxy. Let’s ignore the fact our dear sun is just one of the stars in out Milky Way, or that our Milky Way has over 100 billion siblings.
Make no mistake, these are real numbers.
Let’s narrow it down to a more relatable number, say one.
About 1,436 years ago, one man came to remind people of a single message that brought all these quadrillions into one single entity; creation. Creation of Allah. All these numbers, are meagre in the site of the One who created them.
This man, Mustapha (SAW), the Chosen One, told his people of a day when all of their deeds and speech would be accounted for. All of their billions of moments, would be crammed into a single day, the Last Day.
Some believed, some thought it illogical. It was too much data to be processed by one Being, they thought, so they called the Messenger names, like mad man, or sorcerer, etc.
Because, these numbers to them was utter madness.
Fast forward to a few years ago, and Youtube is born. Today, 300 hours of videos are uploaded every minute. What is amazing is, Youtube remembers them all. Every single upload. And Youtube is one of 644 million websites. And yet, the internet remembers all of these websites.
“We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness?” [41:53]
At this point, you’ve already forgotten most of the numbers at the beginning of this.
Imam Shafi’I said, “there is a verse in the qur’an that every wrongdoer should be terrified of”. He was asked what verse it was, and he said, “And your Lord never forgets.” [19:64]

Allah remembers everything.
Even though He remembers them all, we pray Allah overlooks our wrongdoing.

The mistakes are mine and Allah knows best.
